I got some questions about why I decided to leave Sweden and move to Germany.
So. I'll tell you why :)
Why are you moving?
Living abroad has been one of my life goals, since forever. I want to widen my intellectual horizon and increase my understanding for the human individual.
Why Germany?
I start with Germany since it's a part of EU and not too much rules to remember. It's easy moving there and if i regret it, it's easy going back again. I want to learn a new language but learning a new language in a strange country from scratch can be quite difficult so German is the perfect place for me to develop my poor basic German skills.
What about your boyfriend?
It so happens Lighto is soon about to finish school (flight engineer). As a last project to graduate he need to make a project at a company. And it also so happens he asked Airbus in Bremen to let him do his project there and they accepted.
What will you do?
That is a very good question indeed. While Lighto's future is already decided, mine is not. I will look for a job and if I fail I will live the same life as I did in Sweden when I was unemployed. Dressing up, taking pictures, explore the town and surroundings, blogging and so on. I will most likely spending a lot of time in the library reading children books and practice the language.
How long will you stay?
This we are not certain about. Lighto's project have to be finished by June. By then he will have to go back to Sweden to show his teacher what he have learned. If Airbus what to keep him as an employee we will most likely stay in Bremen, If they don't, we will probably go back to Sweden since Lighto wants to take his studies to a new level (space engineer).
How do you feel?
I feel WONDERFUL! This is a dream come true! There will be difficulties, mostly language, but this is such an adventure and challenge! If i can do this I can challenge myself to move to other countries in the future, learning many more languages and learn so many new things! Step by step i will conquer the world! :D
And I want to thank you for all the wonderful comments I got when I announced my plans to move. You really made my heart beat faster # ^_^ # I feel like I'm moving much closer to my European readers and friends and it feels wonderful! I feel so welcome to my new country and I hope to learn everything about it!
